Diane McCaffrey – BYO Group Founder
Diane McCaffrey has over 20 years’ experience as a transactional based accountant in a range of small, medium and large businesses.
Diane studied accounting at Swinburne in the late 1980s and holds an Associate Diploma in Accounting and a Certificate of Business Studies in Accounting. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and a registered BAS Agent.
She has extensive practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, BAS returns and management reporting. Prior to setting up BYO Group Diane held senior positions in a number of private companies where she was responsible for liaising with banks, external accountants, auditors, senior management and boards.
The BYO Group team is a fabulous group of dedicated professional bookkeeping consultants, with a wide variety of experience and backgrounds.
Amongst the team are many qualifications, including Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Workflow Max Advisor, Certificate in Sustainable Business, registered BAS Agents and a Certified Practising Accountant.
All staff are Xero Certified Advisors and Xero Payroll Advisors.
The team work remotely, on premises with business owners and at our funky Hawthorn workspace in a relaxed, supportive and flexible environment. The BYO Group mascots are Tango and Whiskey--beloved four-legged friends of the BYO team.
